Am close to purchasing a Mac Mini. From research it only has 2 USB As.
Any suggestions for a dock or adapter with more USB A connectors?

I need to connect:
- Logitech Camera
- Blue Yeti MIC
- Dongle for mouse/keyboard (thinking I might just use Bluetooth - but, heard users having connection issues with Bluetooth)
- 2TB Lacie drive for Time Machine backups

Thanks in advance

Is using the USB-C ports out of the question? For example, the Blue Yeti MIC doesn’t have it’s cable hardwired, right? So, you could purchase a USBC-USBB cable and use the Thunderbolt port for it.

Might be cheaper than a dock BUT, just wondering if you’re keen on purchasing a dock regardless.

...very good point you raised there. Even better yet, I could simply purchase USB A to USB C adapters, too!
Certainly much cheaper.

I have a monitor connected with thunderbolt cable that also has a built in USB hub where for example my webcam and keyboard (wired Apple 1243) is plugged in. I also happen to have a suaoki monitor stand https://www.amazon.com/Lightweight-Aluminum-Monitor-Notebook-MacBook/dp/B01E3M0PH8 (and the mini fits under it) with a built in USB 3 hub connected to one of the type A ports on the mini.

I have more USB A ports then I need.

I did just that and the usb a to usb c adapters are to wide to permit me using both usb c ports on the Mac mini. So I will have to buy the cables to be able to do it.

If it’s one and done situation, I’d agree it’s worth it to just get the cables and not have to deal with using the same old cables with adapters.
