I wonder if the next gen Apple everything will come with USB-C cables as standard?

Excellent question. My guess is going to be no in 2017 but yes starting late 2018. By then all Apple devices will have USB-C only and Apple will have given everyone a couple of years to get up to date. They will then sell USB-C to USB-A adapters as an extra accessory for those who have "old" computers and chargers they'd like to use.

My money would be placed on Apple keeping the price of the device the same but making the buyer purchase a cable of their choice separately
