As long as fast access speeds aren’t a requirement, sure. Looking through the reviews, M1 Mac owners have indicated it suffers from low read speeds from attached devices that aren’t present on intel devices, indicating the controller chipset has compatibility issues with the M1’s.
If you’re just using this thing as a port replicator for external devices and the built in drive bay for storing or backing up large media files than it should be fine, but if access speed is a concern than I’d look elsewhere.

Slow speed , as in the SSDs will also get slow ?
Lets say the SSD says 500MB/sec, what is the degraded performance with those ?
