Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying or going to enjoy their new M1 Pro/Max machines.

Are there any good recommendations for USB-C hubs for the new M1 Pro/Max machines that are equipped with USB-C and A variants and a Gigabit Ethernet port without any compatibility issues?

Looking forward to some good quality suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

If you have $279 USD laying around, try the Thunderbolt Dock from OWC. It is apparently now in stock and shipping. Previously, it was on backorder. It's a bit pricy, but has plenty of ports, to include TB4, ethernet, and USB-2/3. If you have an Apple Superdrive, you can even plug that into the adapter. I was considering this were I to have purchased an M1 MacBook Air/Pro, but I chose the 16" M1 Pro MacBook Pro instead. I have all the ports I need, as well as a USB hub. OWC devices tend to be a little bit overpriced, but from what I can tell, the quality of the devices themselves is very high. YMMV.

Thanks. But indeed 200+ is way too much for something i just need on the go for shirt amount of times. I was looking into Anker devices but read there were lot of compatibility/network issues with the ethernet port part. And hubs in general with macbooks?
