i know this topic has been discussed to death but just wondered if the EU ruling this year means all iPhones apple sells must have USB-C by the 2024 date they specified ? or just new models released after that date. Might effect what last gen models and refurbs apple can sell...

We'll know by Sep 2023. Looking forward to upgrading from a 5nm iPhone to a 3nm iPhone. Hopefully Apple up's the mAh of the battery and be somewhat conservative with the raw performance while improving performance per watt.

I want a stand-by battery life of a 2000 Nokia 3310 but with a raw performance superior to any and all Intel Mac laptop ever made.

The rules are pretty simple. The law will come into effect end of 2024 and there is a 24 month grace period. Existing products already on the market are unaffected.
