I've been searching around and have found several adapters that work well with WOL, but have yet to find any that support 9k Jumbo frames.

Does anyone have some real world suggestions?

Sonnet's TB3 to 10GBASE-T adapter supports 9k Jumbo frames on macOS.
I like it - tho pretty pricey via OWC. The only other option I found was a MonoPrice brand from Amazon:

Still looking but the USB C $17 vs $200 for 9k jumbo frames seems steep, tho the latter does 1g/2.5g/10g - so a bit of future proofing there. I may just bite the bullet and run a CPU/speed test on the two.[/URL]

Why OWC and not $170 directly from Sonnet

I'm in Canada ?? - and it's $40 more than the other one. So I'll try that next if it doesn't work seamlessly. I'll let you know once I've tested this one.

Tested and the MONOPRICE 134934 Thunderbolt 3 10G Ethernet Adapter doesn't work, as there's no built-in driver in Big Sur. It's recognized, but no driver is loaded, and even when changing the security options to load a driver (which I was unable to find for the M1). So I'm unable to use it atm. Going to wait to try the Solo from Sonnet, which does have the drivers built in to Big Sur.

the belkin usb C adapter that apple sells WILL support jumbo frames and it is inexpensive (~$30). however, I find that it is prone to generating a lot of heat.

the caldigit ts3 DOES support jumbo frames via RJ45 port. they also support flow control.

killer networks 2.5g usb c adapter DOESN'T support jumbo frames. they allow for no modification of network settings.

TP-link's usb c adapters DON'T support jumbo frames. however, their gigabit ethernet adapter allows you to change data transmission to 5 GbE.

OWC's docking stations and docking hubs don't support jumbo frames via built in RJ45 port. they do support flow control.

Amazon basics WON'T support jumbo frames.
