Guys, are these USB adaptors suitable for connecting my iPhone and external drive to my M1 MBP? I now I can by a proper adaptor woth multiple slots, but right now I don't want too much clutter on the desk and saw these, which seem quite good as all I'll need to do is attach them to my existing iphone and hard rive cables.

USB C to USB Adapter(2 Pack), Syntech USB-C Male to USB 3.0 Female Adapter Compatible with MacBook Pro after 2016, MacBook Air after 2018, Dell XPS and More Type C or Thunderbolt 3 Devices, Space Grey https://amzn.eu/d/9hTSHjm

OP:

There can be a problem with the adapters you linked to above.

The problem is... when you are using an adapter (plugged into the MBP), it "blocks" the other port somewhat, because the adapter itself is too wide.

These kind of adapters work better:
... because they "leave room" at the USBc port to use the other port.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I ordered already without reading this 🤦 But they should be OK as I won't be hooking too many things up at once. These are mainly for my existing couple of devices.
