There are many outlets that have USB C connections -- they use "power delivery" sparsely, but almost always it's only enough power to charge an iPhone. The Macbook requires (at least, I think) 90W.

Is anyone aware of a wall outlet that provides a USB C connection that will power a Macbook Pro, with the appropriate amount of watts? Or are we stuck with the Apple brick :)

Thanks.

Look at the size of the Apple brick, there are some out that are smaller ... so you’re not going to get a “traditional” wall outlet, something will have to “stick out”, and you can’t hide it in the wall due to heating/cooling... so my guess is the answer to your question is No ...
Have you tried googling for it?

Yeah, I tried Googling. I figured "by now" that someone would have created a dedicated outlet port for this (USB C, 90+W), but not yet.

I installed Lutron outlets, but their USB C "Power Delivery" ports are only good for mobile devices.

If you google usb-c chargers 100w you will find that there are a lot.

For instance this one, which is nearly as big as the 96W Apple charger!

I'm referring to in-wall outlets. I would have thought that by now they would have one -- with a dedicated port. Perhaps it's not possible for USB C with this wattage and the bricks are necessary?
