I’m thinking about purchasing a MBA but my USB stick is encrypted with BitLocker from my Windows machine.

Will I be able to decrypt the USB on a MacBook to access my data?

Also, what if I encrypt my USB stick on the MacBook? Will that work on a Windows machine?

If these methods are not cross compatible with any of these, then I will use those Kingston encrypted USB sticks as they support MacOS and Windows.

There are some 3rd party tools to decrypt bitlocker on mac os but I wouldn't trust them.

Not sure about filevault on windows even with 3rd party tools, but it is doubtful.

Alright, then my best option is to order those encrypted USB sticks from Kingston as there compatible with MacOS as well.
