Hi All,

I have just bought my first Apple product, it's one of the new 2011 iMacs.
What a unit !!!

One frustrating thing is that the USB Ports are at the rear of the screen and it's a bit of a pain having to spin the unit around to stick a USB device in.

My thoughts are to purchase say a 4-Port USB Hub and mount to my desk to allow easy access.

The question is: Can I buy any Hub or will it have to be one designed for MAC?

Pete

Any will work fine - cause USB is meant to be.. well.. universal.

Your decision though if you want a powered or non-powered hub - the former of course usually being the better choice.

Of course. And USB provides little power to non-powered hubs that chances are you'll be faced with under-loading issues and devices being turned off.
