USB Hub Issue

I have a strange problem with a USB hub that I have attached to my iMac.

It is a Belkin 4-Port USB 2.0 hub. It has its own power source, but that's where the problem is. Whenever I reboot my machine, the power is turned off of the hub. I then have to unplug the power source and plug it back in for any of my devices to work.

Does anyone know why my iMac would turn the power off to a device that has external power or why it doesn't wake it back up when the computer is turned on? :confused: :confused:
