USB Hub Problems

I'm really disappointed in Apple's Sleep mode. After sleeping my computer, all my hub ports disconnect! I have had this problem with two different hubs, my newest one being a really nice 10 port hub based on the VL812 controller chip which supposedly is the most Mac compatible. Anyone else having these issues? Any known solutions? I know it's not hardware because booting into Windows sleep works fine! Really bad if you have any external drives connected.

This is a common issue, do a search and you'll find some answers. But, for help here, we need more information. What model Mac Pro? Are you using a USB Card? What model hub? Is the hub powered or not?

Yes, sorry for the lack of info. My fault.
I'm running a mid 2012 Mac Pro 5,1 3.06gig 12 core. The OS is Yosemte latest version. My Hub is a 10 port Sentey brand new. My old hub was a Belkin 7 port which did the same thing, but had an older chipset. Both hubs work fine in Windows 7 running on the same Mac! Obviously it's an OS issue. Called Apple, and as usual their quick to blame the hub manufacture! Seems Apple never wants to step up, and take responsibility for the buggy OS. Yes, both hubs are powered, the newest one by a 4 amp supply! Used a charger doctor to check port voltages, and current on all ports of the new hub, and all is fine. Getting over 5.223 volts, and when using a portable hard drive(non powered) the current draw is 650ma's! Everything electrically seems fine. Definitely has something to due with the data end of things!
 
USB 2.0 back port has the hub connected. Same setup for Windows which works fine.
 
That's strange that this happens on a USB 2.0 port w/Belkin. I have one (Belkin) also connected to a rear port of my 2012 MP and it works flawlessly.
 
Don't know, but since it works fine on both hubs in Windows, and voltages, and current seem correct, the only answer seems to be a buggy OS. I use this machine for my 3d modeling, and rendering so nothing weird is in the system.

I found a software solution that I have been using that actually works. It's called MOUNTAIN http://appgineers.de/mountain/ and I have set it to unmount on sleep so I don't forget. It is also remounting on wake up. I have been using it for 2 days now and it is working. I was worried about screwing up my external drives with the constant error message (DISK NOT EJECTED PROPERLY). If you are waiting of apple to fix USB 3 for a "END OF LIFE" machines then good luck. This solution cost $6.
