Went online to buy a USB hub so I could add a few more ports. But here is the warning I get:

2.4Ghz wireless devices, such as wireless keyboard and mouse adapters, may not work in close proximity to USB 3.0 devices or hubs. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended.

Does this mean with a 3.0 hub my keyboard and mouse will not work? If so, what do you recommend I buy?

USB 3.0 is known to sometimes cause interference with wireless bluetooth keyboard and mouse response. This is quite often caused by poorly shielded cables and hubs. If you have a quality USB 3.0 hub, then using quality shielded cables may control the interference. I have also used ferrite-beads from Amazon clamped over good USB 3.0 cables to further insure non-interference with my mouse and keyboard. I locate them at the computer/hub end of the cable.

If you have a problem, unplugging all USB 3.0 devices may restore proper operation. Then, add external USB 3.0 devices back one at a time until the interference reoccurs and you have found your problem.
