USB Hub?

I want to use my portable external Hard drive (Western Digital 250 GB) and sync my iphone. I tried a 4 port kensington but got not enough power to run the two devices. Any suggestions what would work? Hope you can run 2 items. Thanks

If it wasn't, you would only be distributing power from the single MBA port - which, as you found, isn't enough for both devices.

When you tried to hook up the two devices was your computer plugged in or running off the battery?

It was plugged in. I thought maybe it would work as I understood this usb port on the air to be higher powered.
