Hey, so I've had a problem for a while where my mouse would occasionally break hover, meaning that the mouse position was treated as the same while clicking still worked. This meant that I couldn't hover over anything and some programs were unusable.

The quick fix I had was to replug in the mouse, but it always broke again eventually.

I finally figured out after reading a post today that the problem as the way USB overdrive handles mouse scroll wheel click and scroll. Apparently that triggers some mission control thing. I was able to reproduce the problem consistently by clicking the mouse wheel and scrolling it. The post said there was some option to disable mission control, but I don't see it anywhere in USB overdrive.

Can someone else? I am on el Captian

Nvm I found it, it was "Wheel Button" should be "No Button"

The actual useful scroll wheel button is mouse 3 where all the other buttons on.

Necro just to say Thanks! Fricken Hamster!!! Was driving me crazy, default still isn't fixed. Your post is spot on!
