USB port - for service and diagnostics?

Someone stick a USB cable between their Apple TV and their computer and capture a file list and if practical an OS version!

Hint: look for invisible files.

It wouldn't hurt to see if iTunes files on an external USB drive are recognized by Apple TV and to see if you can read/write files on the HD like you can on an iPod.

Would be good to get the TV working as i currently have a USB TV tuner connected to my apple(iMac - ahem)TV
