Hey everyone,

I was just curious if anyone had a solution to my problem. I searched the forums but couldn't find any answers.

While running boot camp, Windows 7 64 bit only recognizes one usb port out of the three that I have on my 24in 3.06 ghz iMac. In OSX everything works fine, but whenever i run windows, only the middle usb port is usable. Any clues?

Thanks

just take the original install discs of both OSX and windows7 and do a clean reinstall as there are to many things that could have gone wrong either in bootcamp or windows 7 , maybe a wrong registry key or a bootcamp driver issue or even both
...god knows so best to install everything fresh and update everything especially bootcamp because i remeber something that bootcamp1.1 and 1.2 had usb problems , but not sure i dont use windows only linux via bootcamp

just my thought... licensing crap ...i hope you dont mean you installed illegally obtained software

A reinstall for a couple of USB ports is pretty extreme. Go into windows device manager. Remove any USB ports, then scan for hardware changes, it should find them.

Ok well, I like trout spinner's idea most lol. try that first then do an install of windows again. Thanks for the tips guys.

And btw, "licensing crap" not because of pirated software, Apple won't work with Windows to solve any kind of issue, even if its with hardware. Everytime I've had a software problem with an application in windows, I always have to pretend I have a dell desktop (i have an imac) to get service...cause they pull the same ****!

Thanks again
