Hi, im new here and im wondering if anyone could help me with my problem. I recently bought an iMac 17" C2D and i tried transfering my songs from my old 5 year old IBM Computer (yes it was terrible). Anyways i used a ScanDisk USB 1 gb, after transfering about a 1 gb of music to my mac and i deleted the files off of the usb and i went back on to the PC and saw that the USB had no more files on it but it had only 4 MB of space avaliable!!! Also went i went to plug it into the mac it only had no files and only 4 MB of space left Does anyone have any solutions????
When you trash files on a memory stick, you have to empty the trash with the stick connected to the Mac. All you've done is move them to a hidden "Trash" directory on the memory stick, so they're still there taking up space. You've got one more step to take in order to actually get rid of them!
Does anyone have any solutions????
