Hi, im new here and im wondering if anyone could help me with my problem. I recently bought an iMac 17" C2D and i tried transfering my songs from my old 5 year old IBM Computer (yes it was terrible). Anyways i used a ScanDisk USB 1 gb, after transfering about a 1 gb of music to my mac and i deleted the files off of the usb and i went back on to the PC and saw that the USB had no more files on it but it had only 4 MB of space avaliable!!! Also went i went to plug it into the mac it only had no files and only 4 MB of space left :( Does anyone have any solutions????

When you trash files on a memory stick, you have to empty the trash with the stick connected to the Mac. All you've done is move them to a hidden "Trash" directory on the memory stick, so they're still there taking up space. You've got one more step to take in order to actually get rid of them! :D
