I've been Googling-around the past couple of days & can't seem to find what I want: a USB external sound card, Mac compatible, and under $150. ALL I want to do is connect my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 system to a better sound card than my MBP's onboard sound card. I'd like something versatile, in terms of sound quality, as I want it primarily for music, but I also watch a lot of videos on my MBP as well. I'll take any & all advice. Thanks!:D

the digital out is excellent on the MBP. All ya need is a mini tosslink connector. On the other hand as you may have figured out the analog out is absolute crap.

I'm not familiar with your speakers but if they have a digital in you can save alot of coin.
