usb to express card adapter

my verizon express card which i just got (2 weeks before mba announcement) obviously wont work. will the usb to express card adapters work and will they have enough throughput? or do i need to find a usb express card and extension cord? thanks for your advice. i actually called apple and keocera and they said they had no idea.

As long as your device was an ExpressCard device using the USB connection (and not the PCI-e lane) it will work. Most EVDO cards are of the USB variety, as opposed to things like an eSATA card.
