Hey all, just a quick question

Can i pick up a $80AUD windows tv tuner (usb) and use it with the iMac??? or does the imac need something like the elgato eyetv???

You're going to need Mac software and drivers to use the usb tv hardware.

Elgato sell software and drivers - EyeTV - and also rebadged hardware. Their software also supports OEM hardware such as Hauppauge, Miglia, Networx, Pinnacle, Plextor, SCM, Terrate, Twinhan. But only certain models from each of these manufacturers.
