iPad Pro usb type c(3.0) boosts itunes syncing speed?

Actually I think it is 3.1 Gen 2 which provides up to 10Gbps.
I have an Anker USB-C to USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable and can confirm using the cable with my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9” and an iMac or MacBook Pro, files transfer at a ridiculous speed from iTunes to the iPad Pro.
wow, thx for the confirm. so now IOS devices work on fast data transfer, only USB 2.0 so far with lightning cable.
The 2018 iPad is capable of 10Gbps transfer speed with the right cable (10 Gbps USB 3.1 gen 2). The white cable that comes with the iPad is only capable of USB 2.0 speed 480Mbps. Another case of Apple cutting corners on cables, pretty disappointing.

Wholly agree on all counts with this.
Personally; If Apple continue to charge extortionate prices for their third-party equipment they should at the very least offer/provide the best that is currently available.
I have already gone head-to-head with another member on this (HEK) to no avail in a different topic https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/29w-fast-charging-tests-and-3rd-party-adapters.2052414/page-21 on the merits where sometimes using third-party accessories is at the benefit for the customer.
It pleases me no end the Apple hardware supports these speeds but not all of Apple’s accessories appear to follow this up.
