I just purchased a video capture adapter that plugs into the usb port. It is not working and I supsect that the driver does not suppor either Jaguar or even the classic enviornment. Could this be the problem. If so, does anyone know of a simple third party driver that I could download for video capture?

Perhaps OS 9 only...

I supsect that the driver does not suppor either Jaguar or even the classic enviornment.

I have an ATI USB capture device (I can't remember the name, and I don't have it with me). Because it relies directly on the video card in my iBook, it only will run in OS 9, not in X or Classic. I don't know of any other or newer driver for the device.

By the way, I was never too happy with the quality. USB just doesn't have the bandwith for video - if you can afford it, I'd get some kind of Firewire DV bridge.
