iPhone use an ios 12 backup to restaure on ios 13 phone

Hello everyone,

I would like to give my wife my iPhone X runing ios 13. The thing is my wife has an iPhone 6 which isnt supported for ios 13 so she still has ios 12.3 or something.

Can I restore my iPhone X and copy her back on the X or wont be possible?

No problem restoring an old version backup to a new iOS version. Just can't do it the other way around.

You can use a backup from an older firmware, yes.
