use Apple TV speakers for system audio?

is there a way to do this? is apple likely to make it available in the future if there isn't a way right now?

it works fine when airplay mirroring, i dont understand why they wont allow audio to be played alone, unless its just my machine, i dont know how to get it to work. doesnt seem to.

I was playing music through my Zeppelin Air when I looked in the preference panel and lo, it was available as a system audio device. So i selected it and all my systems audio started coming out the Zeppelin along with the music. However it was delayed about 1 seconds. So I stuck on Torchlight and that worked too. Only the lag made it completely useless.

Fun toy but useless for 99% of all applications.
