Hi,

finally got it all working and got my first app running on my ipod touch, what a joy! :)

Have one question though. I've applied as individual so I assume if and when my app will be accepted by apple it will show my first and last name above the application icon?

I wonder if it's possible when submitting to apple store to use made up company name instead of your name? Something like "Crazy **** Software Inc." etc..?

Or this is all tied to your certificates and it will use your first/last name?

Thanks for reading.

I don't think so, because i applied with my company and we chose the company edition and it asked for a companies name so i think the individual will use your first and last name that you gave them when you signed up

You can change the name of the company that actually appears with your app in iTunes to whatever you want. It doesn't have to match your official company name that you provided on your tax documents or whatever.

When you upload it through iTunes Connect it lets you pick a company name to upload it as.
