Use Finder tags without the actual dot?

Hi,

I'm a little perfectionist about my own notions of UI design. About the Finder tags... well I love this feature but I dont like to actually see the colored dots before the file names.

Is there a way/hack to hide it? The idea would be to use tags normally, click on them on the left pane to access all the files marked with a specific tag... but not showing that dot near the file name.

select one of the tags (ie 'gray'), right click in in the sidebar, choose no color. rename it. select it for a file. done!

You can also create a new one instead in Finder → Preferences → Tags and manage the Finder sidebar in one go.
