iPhone Use iFaith To Downgrade IOS 6.1.3

That still uses SHSH blobs. Either the ones on the device or previously saved iFaith ones.
 
On A4 device and 3GS iFaith can create blobs due to the limera1n exploit but only if you are on the actually firmware, so if on 6.1.2 you can create 6.1.2 blobs. It does not work if you are on 6.1.3 and want to create 6.1.2 blobs.

What do tou mean? The blobs on the Cydia server? If they're corrupted and you didn't use another tool like redsnow to save them then you're SOL.

iFaith can pull the blobs off the device for that specific firmware you're using. Then you can use them to reinstal that same firmware. If your blobs on Cydia are invalid and you want to use iFaith to install a firmware you are not currently using, then there's nothing you can do about that. You need valid blobs if you're trying to install a firmware which is not being signed by apple.

Edit: My bad. I misunderstood what you were asking. I see Darrick already responded.
 
The only valid blobs I have are iOS 5 which are 63kb then I have iOS 6 which are 22kb but are corrupt.

I then used iFaith to fetch 6.1.3 which iFaith says they are valid but they are only 4kb :confused: Is this normal? Why are they only 4kb?

When iFaith or tinyumbrella retrieves them from apple's server, it's normal to be 4kb. I think they compress it or something.

You can only use those iOS 5 blobs to downgrade. You can't use the iOS 6 blobs

Yes we did read it, it also say it is a new tool, iFaith has been around along time.

Have you read the comments in this thread along with the well founded explanation? A sole article which in the first line is already mistaken does not make it the truth...

I found interesting that Nikias Bassen posted it and since he is part of the Evad3rs, I gave some credit, that's all.

Guess what? There's tons of videos on youtube that claim this and that and you can downgrade with no shsh blobs and you can unlock basebands that are not unlockable etc....
Believe what you want and waste your time keep trying if you want.

He also posted this:

In a response to a question for some more info on SHSH's he posted the link, in no way did he imply that it can be done without shsh's.

On the side he also confirmed that there will be no JB for 6.1.3

I posted that the article said that, not Nikias. Do I need to make a draw or something? haha

I NEVER confirmed anything, I never said Nikias affirmed anything, I only said he posted this on his twitter and it claims that will downgrade without SHSH.

I even asked everybody opinions about that. I'm not posting a confirmation, I opened the topic for discussion and not for you to come and tell me I'm wrong because, again, I'm not confirming anything.

This is so hard to understand? Try some interpretation lessons, go back to school or whatever. haha

Indeed you are not telling me what I do want to hear because I was expecting clever people discussing the integrity of the article and the info contained there (since the guy who gave me the info is from Evad3rs team) and not just pointing your finger and telling me I'm wrong, since I'm not taking any sides, how could I be wrong about it?

Did you ever had the trouble to ask if I believe what's there? Did you ever ask me what do I know about jailbreak?

You didn't think that because for you it is easier to assume everybody is stupid and you are the only smart one, teaching everybody around here. That's called arrogance. ;)

In your opening post, you did not take a side but after our responses that it's not possible. You mention "yes is it possible according to the article" and that's when you took a side. Whether directly or indirectly implied, you took the side of the article

In all honesty, if you knew about jailbreak, you would know that's not possible. In the jailbreak world, there's a ton of fake articles (just look at all the fake iOS 6 jailbreak articles online before evasi0n came out)

At least 4 people came and said it was not possible but only 1 of the 4 came and called you out so how is that thinking "he is the only smart one"? I think you were also arrogant on your part

Indeed prior to the evasi0n release we had a whole bunch of non-believers acting like 12-year old's.

Only a few stayed on this forum and admitted there mistake, most moved on to troll some where else.

It's nobel of you to admit this, read and learn like we all do, no hard feelings.
