Normally when I talk to someone I can only use the iPhones speakers. But whenever my Mac or iPad is turned on, I can also use them. First of all, what is this feature called, and secondly, how do I disable it? Also, whenever I selected my Mac or iPad, nothing happens at all except that I can hear nothing at all.

This is how it normally looks:

Hello there,

Sounds like it’s the Continuity feature that’s enabled; when your devices are signed into iCloud and use the same WiFi network as your iPhone.

Head over to Settings>Phone>Calls in Other Devices and turn it off in there.

Don’t know why it’s not working on your iPad/Mac but that’s how to disable it anyway.

For me I can make calls on my iPad and Mac, but the new feature introduced in iOS 11.2 when you can transfer a call when you tap the audio button on the iPhone never worked for me.

I had issues the first time I noticed it. But after a restart on all devices I can now jump between devices during a call.
