We have cell service with a very large carrier the name of which I will not say, and our coverage is terrible at best the previous carrier had good coverage, but it has now gone downhill fast, so we are looking to change carriers to AT&T and my husband would like to have an iPhone as we have become fans of Mac products, but he would still like to be able to get on line regularly on his MacBook w/o having to rely on WiFi or paying additional fees for an aircard. Is it possible in any way to use an iPhone to get internet connection on the MacBook? Thanks for any input available.

The 3.0 firmware has shown evidence of Internet tethering, but I believe it does NOT work on the Unibody MacBook. I do not know if ATT has established a pricing scheme yet for it, but be sure to expect one.
