iWeb templates initially use Latin as a filler text rather than your native language (supposedly English in my case). According to the Apple discussions board, many people are confusing it with French. I originally called Applecare tonight they they were clueless.
I wanted to post this to save people from attempting to reinstall iLife to fix this problem. Apparently, it's a common thing in publishing to get users looking at style and layout rather than the text on the page.
