I have a method that will probably work to get non-mac nvidia video cards to work in the mac pro. Recently the 10.4.8 kernel has been patched to work with normal pc's. Someone calle Omni has released a driver called Titan that allows people to use their nvidia cards sully supported in OSX on their pc's.

If someone has a Mac Pro and a 6 or 7 series nvidia video card you can try this and it might work for you.

First, get the file Titan.kext from omni's website(it's at the bottom):

http://omni.starchaser.org/titan/

and follow my instructions from this page:

I am just doing this out of my own curiosity so I don;t know if this works. use at your own risk, but i'm pretty sure it'll work. good luck
