I have an October 2009 iMac 21.5" with the factory 1067mHz DIMMS and plan to upgrade to the latest iMac in near future.

I could use more memory now (current machine has 4GB in two 2GB 1067mHz DIMMS), but would like to be able to use it in the new iMac (which uses 1333 mHz DIMMS) later.

Can I use 2 more 2GB (1333mHz) DIMMS in my current machine (mixed with the two 2 GB 1067mHz DIMMS) until I get my new machine and then move the memory over to that?

As far as I know, the memory controller does not support 1333MHz modules so possibly but I doubt it. The iX models can because their mem controller supports 1333MHz RAM

Hellhammer... ok man, thanks for the info. Guess I'll pass on that idea. :(
