Is there any way to use a PC laptop (newer HP Envy) as a second monitor for my iMac without using any cables? I'm moving across the country and don't have my second monitor or any cables/adapters available to me. Just the iMac and the PC.

I read some documentation about AirPlay but I don't see the option available in the Displays preferences.

AFAIK. You can't use the laptop monitor as an extend monitor for your iMac.
Only screen share (mirrowing) is possible.
