I am looking for an app that would allow me to stream media from my computer to my itouch wirelessly.

Yes, I know I could get a bluetooth device, but then I'd have to muck with it when i want to use my headset for skype....

Yes, I know there are media centers that do that too.

I'd like to try and use what I have on hand.

Simplify Media streams music to your iPhone/iPod Touch...
You need the desktop software.

I believe the iPhone app is free...

Okay, my bad.
I have the flu and wasn't thinking right....

One: I have a mac So ORB is out of the question right now

TWO: I meant to expand on the title of the thread...
I want to use my itouch as a receiver similiar to a media center or apple tv.
To control it from my mac, not the ipod.

Three:
I'm open to hard ware ideas (even tho this is an app forum) that will do this.

Orb lets you do it but the quality isnt as good sd the google telekensis program. I've been using both extensively. If you have a mac then get the google program. You'll be imressed and it's free.

Would people please stop referring to Telekinesis as a Google "program", please? It is an Open Source project that is hosted on Googles service to host such products, it isn't made by Google.

I have orb and the quality is superb, maybe its your tuner card. My tuner card is HD.

I'm just streaming from my macbook. It looks crisp with the telekensis program but slightly pixelated with orb.

re: google tele, Sorry I didn't know that google didn't make it, it does help though if your searching for it.
