Used Thunderbolt 27" Display at OWC.com

As I'm about to receive a new 2018 MacMini (6-core i7/64GB/1TB SSD) to replace my late Mavericks-gimped 2010 MacAir, I'd really like to find one or even two refurbished/used TB Display to connect. Short of finding one at the Apple Store, I'm considering this one available at OWC's Macsales.com outlet:

I've read horror stories WRT buying used Mac hw from Newegg. Amazon, and others. Could anyone here share some *actual* experiences in detail with OWC/MacSales Used Macs in general and the Apple TB displays specifically?

Just curious, why not get a new LG 4k display for the same/less money and have a full warranty and higher resolution?

I have this display for my 16" MBP - love it!

But why pay $400 when you can pick one up for less than $150 ?
