Useing Macbook pro for TV out

If I had a Macbook pro, how would I connect it to a CRT TV with RCA inputs and S video? To watch movies off of the laptop.

You may want to check this post over on Apple's Discussions Forum. It covers the unibody 13" MacBook but the situation is the same on the new unibody MacBook Pros (all models, 13", 15", and 17").

See the post for the full details, but basically you'll need a mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter AND a VGA to analog TV converter box.

If you have HDMI hookup, it is much easier and cheaper to do mDP -> HDMI directly.

It really depends on which MBP you intend on buying. Your newer MBP has a different adapter than your classic MBP.....

I haven't bought a MBP 13" yet, so it would be brand new. What new/diff adaptor would come on it and how would it change things for s video usage?
