I think I read somewhere that the FCC's none disclosure of the full specs and users manual (obviously) expires on the 29th...

As Apple traditionally haven't provided user manuals to download on their website for new products (as most other manufacturers helpfully do!), will I be able to find the iPhone manual on the FCC site somewhere, or anywhere else?

I believe the FCC will release the manual on their site whenever the agreed date is. (I thought it was a few days into July, not the 29th, idk though)

Cool...it's standard practice for the FCC to release manuals on their site for new products then?

er, guys... the fcc is not releasing an iphone manual.....

the fcc nda (non disclosure agreement) was/is to keep the fcc, which is a public government office, from releasing some information about the functionality or design of the iphone until the iphone is released to the public. on june 29th. i'm sure apple will then have a manual available online.

that june 29th date for the fcc nda expiration has been known for several weeks, we should have guessed that to be the release date long ago.... heh.

It's been quoted that the NDA applies to "official specs" and "Owners Manual" - the FCC are not allowed to release these until the 29th.

Whether they put the manual up on their website or not is another matter, but I've definitely read that somewhere.

Apple don't usually put manuals for their products on their website anyway, do they?
