iPad Pro USING 12.9 MAGUC KEYBOARD WITH 11"

I have booth the 12.9 and 11" 2020. If I but the magic keyboard for the 12, can I use the 11 on it for typing.

I don't think you can use the 11" on it due to the smart connector, it couldn't make a connection.
