I would like to link an iPad to a picoprojector. Has anyone here tried it? Did it work or will the iPad just ignore the device? If it worked which projector did you connect any do you have any comments about the experience?

Thanks

Works fine with a small, portable projector I have (Hitatchi). Doesn't work with the ceiling mounted projector in the main conference room at work, though I'm thinking it's got to do with the A/B switchbox it's connected through.

works on all projectors at my work

remember it is not like using a laptop

Apple has locked down what can and cannot be projected from the ipad using the VGA cable

I wrote a review of the AAXA Micro Projector (and discussed the Pico in the review) for iPhone Life Magazine. It should be in the upcoming print issue, but it's online at:

DWHH1 - Did you ever decide on the pico projector + iPad combo? I'd like to get one to do some small group presentations and maybe some big screen gaming (if allowed). I like the AAXA solution with the power pass through port in the adapter so I can keep the iPad charging. Does anyone else offer something like this?
