Does anyone know if the VESA Apple adapter needed to attach an iMAc to an articulating arm that was used with a 2015 iMac will also work an iMac Pro?

Thanks.

If you are asking about a VESA adapter that attaches to the iMac's stand, then the same item should also work on the iMac Pro stand. That's assuming that both stands have the same dimensions (I am not sure about that)

If you are asking about the adapter that might be used on the iMac SOLD by Apple as a VESA mount model: That one has no stand at all, just the VESA mount adapter. The answer would then be "no". Those VESA mount iMacs are sold that way as separate models, with the only difference being a different rear panel, and no stand. The iMac Pro, OTOH, has a kit to remove the present stand, and replace that with a VESA adapter.
I would ASK AT THE APPLE STORE, if you want to purchase one of those VESA mount kits, as there was serious problems with that kit when the iMac Pro was first released.
