I have a mid-2017 MacBook Pro with 128GB of storage. I want to install Windows, but on an external drive that can be booted to. I would also like to be able to use this drive as a regular storage drive, both in MacOS and Windows 10. I would like to know if this is at all possible? Can a drive be booted from a partition and have another partition recognised as just storage?

Thanks in advance.
