I have an external drive that on a mac would show up as DRIVE and when on a PC shows as F:\DRIVE. Is there a way to make this uniform so that apps can use the same paths to find files?

For example, I have my iTunes Library on DRIVE and need to change the paths every time I plug into the other computer. Does anyone else share libraries on BOTH Mac and PC and have a trick for me? I'm guessing this would be the same for photo libraries and the like.

I keep the actual library on the external drive as well. Drive formatted as exFAT.

Sorry, I'm not extremely computer savvy and I hope this is clear/enough information.

Thanks in advance!

A NAS, or even a router that can host a hard drive on a network, would be able to do what you're looking to do.
