I am getting a new macbook pro next week, and have a 650 gb media drive in my mac pro which is now full.
My mac pro has time machine on an external raid, but I dont have enough space on there to partition it to make a time machine drive for the macbook pro.
So I was thiking about buying a 1 or 2 tb drive to move all of my media onto, and then to use the old drive in the mac pro as a time machine for the macbook pro.
I'd have to mount the drive over wifi and then set up the time machine..... will that work?
