Hi, everyone.

I have been searching around for a while now and haven't come up with a definitive answer for my question, which is this: After I do the iPhone Dev Team jailbreak for 1.1.3, will I be able to unlock a new SIM card with AnySim? The reason I'm asking is because I want to get my iPhoe jailbroken with 1.1.3 before I sell it to my brother, so that he can just use AnySim to unlock his T-Mobile SIM card. Right now my phone is using a jailbroken 1.1.2 firmware, but not unlocked (because I use an already-activated AT&T SIM). So that's the situation.

Can I use AnySim to unlock a SIM card after jailbreaking to 1.1.3?

If not, are there any other ways to unlock the SIM after jailbreaking to 1.1.3?

What bootloader does the phone have. When was it made? And I doubt it. If it's a newer iPhone it won't work at all.

How do I find out my bootloader version

How do I find out what Bootloader do I have.

My iPhone says I have the 04.02.13_G Baseband.
Serial No. is 86751Wxxxxx

Please help

The bootloader is 3.9_M3S2 and I bought it in the beginning of October, right after the 8 GB models came out (week 37 according to the serial number).

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but if you update to 1.1.3 it will change your modem firmware to 04.03.13G and you will not be able to use any method to unlock at this time. Would recomment staying away from 1.1.3 if your looking to be unlocked

I'm pretty sure if you use the DevTeams soft unlock method it doesn't touch the bootloader. Meaning, it should hold the unlock if you have it unlocked right now.

8 gig model came out on june 29th?
anySIM will not function on 1.1.3 as of right now

But what if I do the Dev Team's jailbreak but then I want to unlock it? Is that not possible? Would I have to do the unlocking before going to 1.1.3?

No, the 4 GB models came out on June 29.
