Using Aperture with ATV 1?

I like to use some of the gallery features of iLife 09 to show albums on the ATV 1. Seriously considering buying Aperture for the additional capabilities but cannot get one to see the other. Is it possible?

I am currently using a demo Aperture.

Maybe you should rephrase the question. I'm not sure what you're talking about. AppleTV uses its own photo viewer, not iLife "gallery features". iTunes can import iPhoto albums to display on AppleTV, though. This is opposed to using a directory of photos (which it can also do, but not both at the same time). Aperture is a photo editing program (poor man's Photoshop?) It's irrelevant whether you edit your photos with Aperture, Photoshop or even using the Gimp in Linux. All AppleTV does is display the end result.
