This could possibly be a really dumb question (that I did try to search for...), but is it possible to use Apple Pay overseas? I'm from the USA, with a USA bank card attached to my Apple Pay. Has anyone tried this? Sorry if this is dumb and/or already been answered.

Yes, I believe people have said it works.

Yes! When I tried using it in the UK a few times earlier in the year (before Apple Pay launched there), my experience was hit or miss. I tried again in Sept after Apple Pay launched there (and more locations indicated contactless acceptance) and had much more success. In fact, I was probably able to use it more places than I had to swipe my card.

On a side note, TFL is trying to push contactless usage, and they promote using Apple Pay, but it wasn't very reliable for me. I received an "unsupported card" error a few times (with both a visa and amex) when trying to use Apple Pay on my watch, so I just went back to using my oyster card.
