Hey,
I recently bought a new iPad Pro with Apple Pencil 2.
From obvious reasons I had to put a glass screen protector on the iPad, and ever since then the Pencil does an occasional glitch where it’s not drawing for a few moments and such.

I can understand why something like that would happen but I just want to make sure, is it a known effect of certain glass protectors? Or Maybe there’s a fault in my Pencil and I should contact Apple about it

Does the glitch always happen in the same area with the same app?

If you contact Apple about this issue, the they probably tell you to perform a complete reset and/or remove the glass screen protector. None of the Apple stores in Canada sell or install glass screen protectors for the iPads, only the iPhones.

I just got an IPP 10.5" and, since I will not be using it with a pencil, will add a glass screen protector.

I’ve seen some discussion here of lag with some glass protectors. It seemed the thickness of some was interfering with the response rate. Posters were finding better results with thinner glass, or film, protectors.

I have mine since 1 month and a half, and I use a glass screen protector, I don’t have any issue with the pencil it works pretty well
I have to admit it’s slippery and I’d like to buy a mate screen protector or the “paperlike” one
