I have an old TV, with no HDMI input. I would very much like to get an Apple TV box. However, I cannot connect an Apple TV to my TV as it has no HDMI inputs.

However, I have a SKY+ HD box connected to the TV, which does has a HDMI port.

Is it possible to use this cable to connect an Apple TV box to the Sky+ HD box HDMI port, and therefore view Apple TV content on my old TV?

no it isn't.
if your TV doesn't have HDMI, how have you got your SkyHD box connected?

Using scart port. Even though the Sky+ box is a "HD" box, we're just using it for standard definition TV. It seems to be what Sky provides by default.

yes, HD boxes are the default now.
my advice, upgrade your TV.
