Is it possible to use my blackberry as a dial-up to access the internet when I am on the road? I have a macbookpro with C2D. Do I need special software? My blackberry is already internet ready by my service provider. I was told by Bell (in Canada, my provider) that I need to download bureaumobile (french version of mobileoffice I guess) but that it did not support Macs at this time. I was just wondering if anybody has already been able to do that. Thanks very much.

If your blackberry has bluetooth you can pair it with your Mac and during the setup check the option to have your Mac use your blackberry as an internet connection.

My blackberry is paired with my Mac but when it checks for services, none show up. I guess I will have to check with Bell to find out if it can be done. If anybody else can help me, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks

It'll take a little hackin' to make it tether with Mac. I wouldn't raise it with your provider, as they often aren't too keen on the subject.

Out of the box my Blackberry 8700 doesn't support being used as a modem connection via bluetooth. I don't know if this is limited to OSX, but I haven't had the need to really find a workaround - I am sure there is one if it is possible.

My blackberry is a 7250, so the link given won't work with mine. I was told by bell mobility that a download would be available in july, I just thought that some of you would know a way. I already pay for the service pack for the internet and email on my blackberry, so my provider is willing, they just don't have the download for Mac right now, only for windows. There is no way I'm going to go with bootcamp. I can wait unless somebody has another way. Thanks for your replies.
